Mini dental implants in Jupiter

Say goodbye to loose dentures.

Mini implants are small, strong anchors that hold your denture firmly in place, usually in one gentle visit and often without bone grafting.

How they work

Tiny anchors, big confidence

A mini implant is a slim titanium post that acts like a tooth root. Its rounded top clicks into a fitting inside your denture, holding it snugly at the right height so it sits comfortably on your gums.

No more slipping when you talk, laugh or eat, and no more messy adhesives.

Mini vs. full-size implants

Full-size implants are ideal for replacing individual teeth and need healthy, dense bone. Minis shine at securing dentures and can work with less bone. We'll look at your 3D scan and recommend the best fit.

Understanding Mini Dental Implants

If your denture slips, clicks, or keeps you from enjoying the foods you love, mini dental implants may be the solution you haven't heard about. They're smaller and gentler than traditional implants and can often be placed and put to use in a single visit. Here's how they work and who they're right for.

What are mini dental implants?

A mini implant is a slim titanium post, roughly half the width of a standard implant, with a small ball-shaped top. Several are placed into the jaw, and your denture is fitted with matching sockets that snap securely onto them. The denture stays put while you eat and speak, yet still comes out for cleaning. Because the posts are so narrow, they can often be placed in bone that's too thin for conventional implants.

Who is a good candidate for mini implants?

Mini implants are most often used to stabilize a loose lower denture, though they can secure upper dentures and, in some cases, replace a single small tooth. They're a great fit for patients who've lost bone over years of wearing dentures and have been told they'd need grafting for standard implants. They're also a good option for people who want a quicker, less involved procedure. A 3D scan tells us whether you have enough bone to proceed.

What does the procedure involve?

It's a minimally invasive process done under local anesthetic at our Jupiter office. The mini implants are placed through the gum with no large incision and typically no stitches. Your denture is then adjusted or retrofitted with the snap-in attachments, often the same day. Most patients are surprised at how quickly it goes and how soon they're eating comfortably again.

What is recovery like?

Because the procedure is so gentle, recovery is usually quick. Expect mild tenderness for a day or two, manageable with over-the-counter pain relief. We'll recommend soft foods at first and show you how to clean around the implants and inside your denture. Follow-up visits let us fine-tune the fit as your gums settle.

How much do mini implants cost, and does insurance cover them?

Mini implants are generally less costly than traditional implants because there's less surgery and usually no grafting, but the exact figure depends on how many are needed and the condition of your denture. Insurance coverage varies by plan. We'll give you a personalized quote after your consultation, and you can look at our financing options and our in-house dental plan.

When should you book a consultation?

If you use adhesive every day, avoid certain foods, or feel self-conscious about your denture moving when you talk, it's time. A consultation includes a 3D scan and an honest conversation about whether mini implants, traditional implants, or a new denture would serve you best.
